Of course, a poor-quality glow bracelet could be the result of manufacturing defects, where the liquid within the plastic glow tube has leaked through the small holes. However, it could also just be a bad tube in a good bunch. Sometimes, out of a package of several hundred bracelets, one or two of the items are already broken or can malfunction. It is impossible to tell just by looking at the package.

When it comes to glow sticks, cheaper ones usually perform just as well as, if not better than, the more expensive ones. After all, you are only going to be using them for a few hours and they are meant to be disposable. If one in a package of twenty does not work as well as it should, there is no need to worry, because there are nineteen more!
